THE GARDEN
Growing Love and Sowing Kindness
The original vision for building our Little Free Pantry was a Community Garden with CSA type food distribution. With the addition of a community garden in spring 2022, we have officially come full circle back to our original intent.
While the motto "Fed is Best" applies to adults as much as it does infants, that doesn't change the fact that humans think, feel, and function better when they are properly nourished. Adding a garden with a wide range of fresh berries, vegetables, and herbs provides additional healthy food options to help our community and most vulnerable neighbors thrive.

Like the pantry, our garden produce is readily available to EVERYONE. Our goal is for the garden to belong to the community in the same way the pantry does. That means all community members have the opportunity to share in the bounty. While we encourage our neighbors to engage in all aspects of the garden, including sowing seeds, weeding, watering, and harvesting, we also want to make sure everyone feels welcome to the fresh garden produce.

At its core, like the pantry, the garden is an opportunity for people to come together to support one another. We are neighbors helping neighbors through small acts of kindness. We would love to have you join us.

Did you know that the pantry will gladly accept your surplus garden produce?

We also share seeds and seedlings to help you start your own garden adventure!
