It’s Thankful Thursday!!!
We celebrate gratitude EVERYDAY at the pantry, but today we want to give a special shout out not only to each and every neighbor and supporter, but also to our numerous community partners.
With the support of food drives from the Love Mom XOXO Foundation Inc. and Seymour Pink AND the help of the Seymour Oxford Food Bank, The Blessing Pantry, realfoodct, Haven's Harvest, TEAM, Inc., the Valley Community Foundation and our entire AMAZING pantry community we were able to distribute over 2,900 lbs of food in June, 3,875 lbs in July, 3,200 lbs of food in August and over 2,200 lbs so far this month.
While we are devastated daily by the increased need, and numbers of new visitors, we are seeing in the wake of the recent devastating flooding, we are also filled with hope by the way this community comes together.
We love and appreciate each and every one of you!!!
Also, just a reminder that the pantry is for EVERYONE no questions asked, so if you or someone you know has a need, please visit. We can’t always guarantee we will have a lot, but we’ll always share what we have. ❤️🫶🏻
